June 6-9, 2011 - ages 7 and up
     Pitching & Catching - 9:00am - 11:00am
     Hitting Camp - 12:00p - 2:00p

June 13-16, 2011 - ages 7 and up
     Future Stars (World Series Prep Camp)

Best places to work award luncheon

The Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville-Madison County, partnering with the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management, will host the Fourth Annual Best Places to Work Award luncheon Tuesday.

The top 15 best places to work and the top 9 best employees will be named at the event, presented by Systems, Studies & Simulation.

Man forced from home after fire

One man was forced out of his home after a late night house fire. It started around 11:50 Monday night on Canterbury Circle.

The fire did a lot of damage to the kitchen, and there was smoke damage in the rest of the home.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Wells Fargo bankers are fanning out across Alabama and the rest of the country to connect with students of all ages in classrooms as part of the annual American Bankers Association’s Teach Children to Save Day.
