Huntsville Fire Department have responded to a fire at an apartment complex at 1010 Henderson Road.

The call went out shortly before 1:30 p.m. and several people are displaced. 

This is the third apartment fire in Huntsville this week.

Police: Man attacked downtown

Huntsville police are looking for two men who they said tried to rob a man in an alley.

It happened at about 2:00 Thursday morning, near Mason's Pub, downtown.

According to Huntsville police, the victim was in the alley next to the bar when two men approached him and held him up with a knife. A fight started and the men allegedly cut the victim's arms.

The victim managed to get away, ran to Humphrey's just around the corner and employees there called authorities.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be ok.

Police said the suspects didn't get away with any money. Police did not release a description of the suspects.

ADTRAN hosts "senior design showcase" for regional Universities

ADTRAN is hosting students and faculty from Auburn, Mississippi State, Missouri University of Science and Technology, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the University of Alabama, and the University of Alabama, Huntsville, for a two-day "Senior Design Showcase" event.

The event will be held Thursday, April 14th from 10 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday, April 15th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
