Hearing date set for murder suspect | Crime

A teenager accused of killing a man in Harvest will appear in court next month.

Elante Dangelo Stewart, 19, and two juveniles are accused of killing Corey Murray, 20, at a home on Beaconcrest Circle in Madison County. The shooting happened in late October.

Investigators say Murray was visiting the people who lived in the home. He got a phone call and went outside. The people in the home heard gunshots and then found Murray on the ground outside.

Court records show Stewart and two others charged in this case.

Stewart and one of the juveniles have felony examinations on December 5. The third juvenile has a felony examination on November 28. All of the hearings will happen at the Madison County Courthouse in Huntsville.
