Mental health eval granted for accused school shooter
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- A judge will allow a doctor to perform a mental evaluation on the accused Discovery Middle School shooter.
Hammad Memon is accused of shooting and killing his classmate, Todd Brown, at the school in 2010.
Monday morning, a judge ruled that a doctor can perform a mental evaluation on Memon, on February 15th.
The test will be held at the Madison County Jail, where the 17-year-old is housed.
