Thief brings her own shopping bags to steal items | News

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- Normally store clerks put your merchandise into bags at the checkout counter, but a thief recently brought her own bags and didn't bother stopping at the checkout counter.

On surveillance video at the Target on University Drive in Huntsville November 20th, you can see a thief trying to wheel a shopping cart full of items out of the store, but a loss prevention employee stopped her as she walked out the door.

Police said this thief ran out of the store a few seconds after being stopped by the employee.

Police also said the thief brought several Target shopping bags with her and put the stolen items in those bags, apparently trying to be less conspicuous as she walked out.

That plan obviously didn't work.

Police need your help tracking this creative thief down.
